Zirconium Octoate is a most efficient and useful auxiliary drier. This type of chemical compound like lead acts as a through drier and is commonly utilized along with Cobalt, Calcium and Manganese. It is an active cross-linking chemical product and as such makes better hardness of stoved films and their adhesions as well. It is suggested as a catalyst for epoxy esters, and is not an effective agent in phenolic resin based media. Moreover, Zirconium Octoate is absolutely to be avoided using along with lead drier.
